Logic has been crushing the genre of rap since age 17.
The Wu Tang Clan an American hip hop group from New York, has been an influence since he started making music and his dream has always been to work with Kanye West.
Logic has gained a multitude of followers, ever since his small shows at the University of Maryland.
He released four free mixtapes online and funded his own tours, through which he built his fanbase and reputation.
Last December he stole the show at Webster Hall with a crowd of 1,500 because of his lyricism and energy.
Growing up in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Logic rarely saw his father. Both his mother and father suffered from crack addiction and alcoholism. His brothers also sold crack cocaine, sometimes even to his father.
Logic left home and has been on his own ever since.
He is always in the studio working on projects and doesn’t frequently party, hang out, play video games, or go on vacation.
This slavish dedication can be seen in his lyrics.
“I like him because he doesn't follow the precedent that most ‘rappers’ set. While those self-proclaimed rappers talk about money and other materialistic things, he raps about relevant topics and has nice flow," said Ryan Fisher.
Logic is signed with Visionary Music Group and Def Jam Recordings at the young age of 24.
He has dropped 4 mixtapes throughout 2010-2013 (Young, Broke, and Infamous, Young Sinatra, Young Sinatra: Undeniable, and Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever), as well as his debut album titled Under Pressure which he released on October 21, 2014.
Under Pressure was named Best Hip Hop Album of 2014 by iTunes.
Logic is a great artist and continues to climb his way to the top of the charts.
