This past summer a fairly new musician from Oakland, California, released an album that finally gave him the attention he deserved.
“These Things Happened” included a healthy mix of hip-hop styles as well as an R&B, electronica, and prior decade’s style.
The popularity of the album gave G-Eazy enough confidence and recognition to go on his first headlining international tour.
So far, he has played in various places around Midwest America but once done in the U.S., he will finish his tour in Australia.
He brought Kool John, Jay Ant, Kehlani along with him on his tour.
On January 8, he performed downtown Indianapolis at the Old National Centre.
Not only did G-Eazy play multiple songs from his album released this past summer, he intertwined hits from past albums that got the entire crowd shouting lyrics.
The Egyptian Theater at Old National Centre couldn’t have been a better location.
Although he gained many followers this past year, the size of the venue fit his crowd size.
The crowd was not massive, but everyone knew the lyrics as if they had recorded the songs themselves.
G-Eazy is becoming more and more popular as time goes on.
He has created a grunge style for himself that attracts a very large crowd of this generation.
There is no doubt he will continue gaining a larger fan-base and will be touring time and time again.
