From time to time an artist comes and makes a studio album that has two or three singles that can top the billboard 100.

The greatest of all time can’t even do that with some of their studio albums.

The present and future of rap is in the hands of two artists: Drake and ASAP Rocky.

Although Rocky has only one studio album released, more than seven of the 16 songs have reached the top ten on iTunes and the Billboard 100.

His last album was released in late 2012 and he shortly after stated that he’d be working on another one for the listeners.

In late October of 2014, Rocky released “Multiply” which would be on his upcoming album At.Long.Last.Asap, and in early January of 2015 released “Pretty Flacko 2”.

The wait for the new EP is thru the roof, and Rocky fans all over the world couldn’t be any more excited for its May 2015 release.

For Drake’s latest album, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, was not released on iTunes until two months after its February 2015 release.

Although the hype for the latest Drake album was not as large as Rocky’s, it will be hard to beat the number of copies sold and listened to.

Shortly after its release on iTunes, IYRTITL was number one on album sales for a solid month, with over six singles in the top ten songs on all of iTunes.

With an amazing performance at Coachella 2015, Drake is one of the most talked about and listened to artist in the game right now, and is only getting better, and announced a worldwide tour with fellow rap artist Future.

As past artists grow older, new artists come around and change the “old way” into something of their own, but with a little bit of old-school and new-school, Drake and ASAP Rocky are two of the best entertainers today.
