Soccer has been a part of Daniel Madren’s life since the age of four.
Now a freshman on the Harrison’s varsity soccer team, Madren is ready to start his first high school season.
Madren said, “I’ve been playing soccer my entire life. My older brother was the one who got me into it.”
As a new freshman, Madren will be able to experience what it is like to be a part of a high school team.
“It’s a great experience,” said Madren. “You can meet a bunch of new people and make more friends.”
Head Coach Bryan Clouse is very excited to have Madren on the team.
“He is a player that is very versatile. He is a very complete player that has a great deal of technical skill, athleticism, and soccer IQ.”
Madren is not only a part of one high school team, but two, also kicking for the football team.
“It’s fun because the team has someone to yell and cheer for on Friday nights and then we can joke with him the next day,” said team captain Matthew Roop.
Madren hopes to achieve high goals in his first season.
“I hope to win sectionals.”
