Colin Zeh, linebacker for the Harrison football team, recently committed to play football at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Zeh was the X-factor for the Harrison defense this past season.
He recorded a team leading 102 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, and 8.5 sacks.
Zeh will now take the next step in his career by joining the Red Men.
Although Zeh is excited to join the Carthage football program, it wasn’t his first choice.
“It was a tough decision,” Zeh said. “My first choice was to play at the United States Military, Naval, or Air Force Academies. When those felI through, I had to look at other schools quickly.”
Zeh took many factors into consideration, but money was the most important.
“A really big factor for me was the money,” said the Raider senior. “I got a lot more money from Carthage than any other school. It was hard because both of those schools (Marian and Indianapolis) and also Butler are a lot closer to home for me. But Carthage is not too far, and I really like its location.”
Zeh plans to study either International Political Economy or Political Science.
He also wants to win the CCIW (College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) and to go deep into the playoffs.
