With finals coming up this week, there are many things that can distract you: Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and most of all, Netflix.
But there are many things that can help you get through finals week.
One: Sleep. Make sure you get at least eight hours of sleep every night. (This means no Netflix marathons.)
Two: Eat a healthy, nutritious breakfast. This will allow your brain to think to full capacity.
Three: Take study breaks. Taking fifteen minutes breaks in between studying can actually help you retain more information.
Four: Put your phone away. (Have somebody in your family hide your phone…far, far away.)
Five: Stay hydrated. Make sure you drink enough water, so you don’t turn into a lackadaisical blob by the end of the day.
Six: Study. This may seem somewhat obvious, but pull out your math book and actually do some of the review problems.
These simple study tasks will help you survive finals week.
