Garrett Murphy

1.     Describe the past four years in one word. Fast

2.      How have you changed from freshman year to senior year? I've unfortunately become a really lazy student. I used to do all my homework all the time get upset when I forgot an assignment. Now I practically avoid homework like the plague and couldn't care less about doing it.

3.     What is your advice for underclassmen? High school really sucks- flat out. Don't expect it to be great, because it's not. But I mean, have fun and stuff too; you're only 18 once!

4.     Who is your favorite teacher? Oh, there's so many good candidates! I'd probably say Mr. Cahee, Ms. Hammons, Ms. Nimmer, or Sra. Mansilla. They all (somehow) manage to make learning fun, which I can assume is no easy task!

5.     What is your favorite substitute teacher memory? In 7th grade, while our sub was taking attendance, Alex Lowe-Massi claimed that he went by "Jimmy," and everybody went along with it for the entire hour. It was really funny in the moment, and something I probably won't forget.

Destany Larson

1.     What was your favorite senior memory? My favorite senior memory was definitely my last, first football game of the season. It was the scrimmage against West Side and I finally got to cheer for Harrison in the very front row. In that moment it really hit me that I was a senior, and this was my last everything of high school.

2.     What was your worst first date? One time I went on a blind date with this total weirdo. We went to see a scary movie and he was so loud the entire time and people around us had to tell him to be quiet... and he put both of his arms around me the whole time and it was just weird. He basically hugged me for the entire duration of the movie.

3.     What is your advice for underclassmen? Each day is a new day, every emotion is temporary. Life goes on, definitely.

4.     What was your proudest moment in high school? Trying out for Purdue's hip hop team and making it. I was the only high schooler on the team and was able to juggle a lot of things.

5.     Who was your middle school crush? I dated like every boy at Klondike back in the day, but the real heart throb was Gary Boone.

5.     What’s your advice to underclassmen? Cool it down and worry about yourself and not others. Don’t care far too much about popularity, dating, and gossip. In the end it is going to make you hate people, so it is best just to rid your life of thinking based on that.

She didn't trust me for some reason and felt as though she needed to come. Anyways, the whole time during the movie, I kept looking back at my mom during the movie to see that she was hard-core staring at me while woofing popcorn down her throat. The whole situation was so awkward. And after the movie, I suggested we use the restroom hoping that my mom will get the hint to get the hell out of there so Dan wouldn't notice that she was in the theater. We both walk out of the restroom at the same time to find that my mom is standing in the lobby staring at us while still woofing down that bucket of popcorn.
