All of this month, colleges have been and will be visiting Harrison High school in order to offer information to students about their colleges.
The next few weeks, colleges such as Wabash, Saint Joseph, Indiana Tech, and DePauw will be visiting Harrison.
They will tell students the requirements for college, such as GPA, costs, and any financial aid they can get.
This also helps students get to know more about the college and what they specialize in.
“The administrators really helped me figure out what I need to prepare for in order to get into the college that I’m interested in” said Brielle Starr, Harrison High School junior.
College visits are recommended for juniors to attend in order to help prepare for their senior year and applying to colleges.
The past week, Jefferson High School hosted the annual college fair, bringing in representatives from all over the state.
The fair brings in hundreds of students every year, answering lots of questions students have for both colleges and those who want to join the armed forces out of high school.
All of these events will be very helpful to seniors and juniors in deciding their future and how to go about their schooling.
