Senior Salute: Ashton Bitters

Senior Salute: Ashton Bitters

Sam Arvin

As a way to honor the seniors of Harrison, the Harrison Pulse is doing a segment where we share a Q&A with 15 Raiders from the class of 2016. Each day we will be releasing another part of this series. Today's senior is Ashton Bitters:

What was your favorite class at Harrison?

AP Physics C Mechanics

Who influenced you the most throughout these four years?

My friends

Who was your middle school crush?

If you could change anything about the last four years what would it be?

My class choice for senior year.

What would you tell your freshman self now?

Hey past self, go talk to people more.

What is the worst fashion trend you participated in?

Describe your worst date experience.

*no answer*

What is your favorite food that is served at lunch?

None.  It's all horrible.

What is your favorite memory from Harrison?

The time I spent with my friends.

Who is your favorite teacher and why?

Mr. Smiley, even though he didn't always understand the AP questions himself, he always put forth his best effort to make sure all of us in physics understood them better than we had going into them.

What was your most challenging class/who was your most challenging teacher at Harrison, and how have they shaped your experience here at Harrison?

AP Physics C Mechanics.  It sort of pushed me into managing my time better because of the long nights of Mastering Physics.

What are your plans after high school?

Get a degree in physics and go into astrophysics as a grad student, hopefully to become a professor of astrophysics.
