As a way to honor the senior athletes of Harrison, the Harrison Pulse is doing a segment where we share a Q&A with 15 Raider athletes from the class of 2016. Each day we will be releasing another part of this series. Today's senior athlete is Marcus Torres:
What was your favorite class at Harrison?
Who influenced you the most throughout these four years?
Ethan Stetler. He's been a great friend to me and has had a positive influence on me the last four years and made me the man I am today.
Who was your middle school crush?
My history teacher, Mrs. Agular.
If you could change anything in the last four years what would it be?
I think I would've stayed single throughout high school instead of getting in all these relationships.
What would you tell your freshman self now?
What is the worst fashion trend you have participated in?
Sperry's and long socks
Describe your worst date experience.
When I first moved here my freshman year, I went to the movies with an eighth grader, and she was the first girl I met here. We went to the movies, and she wanted to kiss me so we did, and she was a terrible kisser so we never talked after that.
What is your favorite food served at school lunch?
Tacos for sure
What is your favorite memory from Harrison and why?
Meeting every person I met here, developing relationships with these people, and making a lot of great friends. Thank you guys.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
Mr. V is my dude, just because he is my bro
What is your favorite pregame song?
Right Above It by Lil Wayne and Drake
What is your favorite moment from any game in the last four years and why?
Beating Logansport junior year, because we broke the streak
Describe an embarrassing moment that happened in a game or practice.
My freshman year, we were practicing special teams, and I was on kick return and wasn't going 100 percent and not paying attention. Clay Weaver came down the field sprinting at me and knocked me on my butt which was pretty embarrassing, since I was the new kid.
