Senior Salute: Zach Nance

Senior Salute: Zach Nance

Sam Arvin

As a way to honor the seniors of Harrison, the Harrison Pulse is doing a segment where we share a Q&A with selected Raiders from the class of 2017. Each day we will be releasing another part of this series. Today's senior is Zach Nance:

What was your favorite class at Harrison?

Physics with Smiley

Who was your middle school crush?

Abby Summers

What would you tell your freshman self now?

DON'T BE AFRAID TO COMPLETELY FAIL! It's not the failing that makes you who you are, but the falling and rising. It doesn't MATTER what you DO, as long as what you DO MATTERS.

What is your favorite TV show?

What song describes your high school experience?

Definitely "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus

Describe your worst date experience.

One time I took Olivia to Prophet's Rock in Battle Ground, we were in a little ravine and that ravine just so happened to be soaked with water. So, we went home that night with drenched pants up to our knees!

What is your favorite High School memory?

Being able to rake leaves for a retired Harrison janitor through C.R.E.W. who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

Who is your favorite teacher and why?

Mr. Kiester - He sponsors C.R.E.W. and has a heart for God. He is such a down-to-earth, fun, loving and caring person whose joy and compassion are undeniably rooted in Jesus Christ!

What will you miss about high school?

C.R.E.W., Miss Hammons, friends, the AWESOME lunch ladies and janitors, and the administration.

What won’t you miss about high school?

Being stuck in a prison for 8 hours a day... Just Kidding! I'd say the jank printers that only seem to work when you don't need to use them and the school issued backpacks.

What do you plan on doing after high school?

After High School, I will be an intern at Wynright Manufacturing Systems over the summer and start at Purdue's Krannert College of Business in the fall where I will pursue a degree in business management. I will also pursue a music career leading worship.
